A leading social housing provider within Kent are currently looking to recruit for two Maintenance Surveyors on a permanent basis
Your main duties will be to carry out pre and post inspections and carrying out quality checks on works carried out. You will be working with Contractors and monitor the quality and quantity of work undertaken by them, ensuring contract compliance at all times. You must have experience of reactive maintenance and drawing up specifications for works as well as understanding and be able to use the Schedule of Rates and responsive repairs contracts, including the relevant forms of contract such as MTC.
Candidates should have a minimum of two years social housing experience as a Maintenance Surveyor and be a car owner with a full clean driving license.
A relevant technical qualification would be beneficial although is not essential.
