Major Donor Manager
One of the UK's leading homeless charities is looking to recruit a Major Donor Manager to cultivate new business through the engagement of major donors to support and develop charities services to homeless young people.
Duties
Developing an effective major donor fundraising strategy
Implementing new business development from major donors
Producing high quality written proposals, correspondence and presentations
Developing and implementing donor development plans for the portfolio of donors and prospects.
Ensuring the most effective approaches are made to secure major donors.
Implementing an annual events plan, with opportunities to target prospects and acknowledge key donors
Essential
An understanding of the nature of charitable giving, particularly in relation to wealthy individuals
Substantial experience of fundraising from major donors
Demonstrable experience of creative and effective written proposals
Experience of securing major donors, to meet targets
Experience of developing successful fundraising products and services for major donors
Experience of developing relationships with major donors through senior staff, Trustees and volunteers
