The Network Management Specialist provides the highest level of expert knowledge to the internal network management and support arenas. This comprises third level support of network infrastructure components and interfacing with any third parties for 3rd/4th level support issues. Primary Responsibilities: Third level management and support of network infrastructure components, development and production of the Operations Plan. Ownership and development of the Network Management and Monitoring Sections in the Operations Manual. Use of the Operations Management console (OVOW) and other tools ( eg OV NNM) to assist in the root cause analysis and resolution of Incidents and Problems. Where required supporting Monitoring Agents and Network Management Analysts including Monitoring the various LAN switching, routing and firewall platforms. Backup and Recovery Management Reports. Helping to resolve complex Incidents and Problems.
