We have an opportunity for a dynamic Home Administrator with a positive approach and understanding of person centred care with older people.

Job Role:

• Provide administrative support to the home, the residents and staff.
• Implement and maintain administration and financial systems as determined by policies and procedures
• Assist the Home Manager in debt management, initiating recovery actions where necessary.
• Support residents in managing their finances as appropriate.
• Participate in greeting and assisting visitors and dealing with telephone enquiries.
• Assist the Home Manager in the achievement of targets and compliance with standards and procedures.
• This is a very busy and demanding role with lots of interaction with staff, residents and visitors.

The Person:

• Experience of working in a busy office environment with good IT knowledge, providing a quality and reliable service to customers.
• Ideally, experience of working in a care home environment and committed to the provision of a customer focused service.
• Ability to demonstrate organisational and planning skills, prioritising work in order to provide a quality service.
• Ability to produce and present numerical data, providing analysis as required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Responds positively to changing customer and/or organisational needs and priorities, adapting working practises as appropriate.
