Purpose of job
To operate the council's network of CCTV cameras for the enforcement of parking and traffic contraventions in accordance with the Council's Code of Practice for Operation of CCTV Enforcement cameras.
Duties and Responsibilities
·To drive to and from locations given by managers at the start and end of day
·To set up and use CCTV and recording equipment to capture images of vehicles which are contravening road regulations
·To log details of vehicles which have broken the road regulations
·Will be allocated and based on different sites
·Will be working on their own most of the time.
·Available to work flexible hours. Current shifts are 7am earliest 8pm latest.
·Ideally candidate must have clean driving license, however a maximum of 3 speeding points may be considered for the right candidate
·Must be hard working and able to use own initiative
·Some previous driving experience desirable
·Must be vigilant and have excellent attention to detail
·Available immediately
