A position has become available for a Payroll Supervisor at a well respected London College. Located in North London, this Payroll Supervisor role is a permanent position, with an extremely competitive salary. The right candidate for the Payroll Supervisor position will oversee a small team of Payroll staff so the opportunity is there to hone your leadership skills. A good place to work, the atmosphere is fun but hard working, and the College is easily reachable from Central London.
The main duties of the Payroll Supervisor will be to:
•Manage the College payroll service.
•Ensure comprehensive procedure notes are compiled and updated.
•Ensure salaries, wages, and related deductions are correctly and accurately calculated, recorded and paid.
•Oversee two payroll staff, ensuring they are trained and capable of covering absence.
•Reconcile payroll.
•Ensure all year end returns are prepared and submitted in accordance with regulations.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in working in a payroll department, and candidates working towards, or that already hold a payroll qualification will have an advantage.
