Performance Test Analyst, Loadrunner, Winrunner, Rational Robot, performance testing
We require a Performance Tester for a 12 month fixed term contract, this role will be paying a salary and will include standard benefits eg holiday and sickness
Role will involve
Undertake performance and load testing for each of the identified test stages applicable to the software solution being implemented using appropriate automated tools to develop, execute, record and report test results. Document any technical and application specific knowledge during the test lifecycle.
Provide timely feedback to developers, managers and other relevant groups concerning issues identified during testing.
Prepare automated regression test packs.
Coordinate third party input into testing lifecycles where required.
Assist in configuring and managing the test environments and the preparation of appropriate test data for all identified test stages.
Essential Skills
Demonstrable software performance testing experience
Working knowledge of LoadRunner and WinRunner and IBM Rational Robot.
Demonstrable knowledge of a range of testing techniques and strategies
Ability to produce professional and well-structured test specifications
