One of our clients based in North London is looking to recruit an experienced Personal Assistant to work on a temporary basis for the duration of a 1 year contract. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Head of Commissioning and Business Management for a large and successful Local Authority. This is a high level position and will require someone who has previously worked in a senior role reporting into either a Head of Department/Assistant Director/Director/CEO.
We are looking for candidates who have experience of working in the public sector before - this includes Local/Central Government, Housing Associations (RSL), Charities or the NHS/PCT. The successful candidate will need to have experience of the following:
(1) Researching and analysing information to report to the Head of Department (2) Co-ordinate projects or initiatives on behalf of the department (3) Diary management, organising meetings and preparing agendas (4) Taking minutes at meetings, and distributing copies to managers when typed
