The ideal candidate for the policing support officer will have experience in customer service and dealing with members of the public, have an understanding of statements and be able to work well in teams and on an individual basis.
Duties of the senior policing support officer position will be as follows:
1. carrying out enquires from members of the public.
2. Interviewing and taking statements from witnesses and victims.
3. Front of house duties.
Shifts will be involved and weekends may be required.
