A unique opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious central government press team at Information Officer Level.
In this role you will help the team in managing and maintaining the reputation of this highly esteemed government department through media liaison.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Press and Communications Officer with a minimum of two years experience. You must have an in date CTC level clearance as well as previous PR or journalistic experience from a public sector organisation, (preferably from central government). In addition to this, your background will include a high level of experience of dealing with media enquiries. You will be confident in dealing with sensitive issues and capable of dealing with national press. You will have excellent project management, copywriting, and editorial skills.
