A west London local authority is seeking an individual to assist in the procurement of letting of private sector leased properties.
You will publicise the Direct Lettings scheme through outreach sessions, direct
canvassing of landlords and agents and participation in landlord forums. You will acquire private sector properties for use by customers of the scheme, visiting, inspecting, and negotiating directly with landlords and agents.
You will assess the suitability of households for participation in the scheme on the
basis of their their present housing situation, income, support needs and other
circumstances.
To apply, you will need a good working knowledge of the private rented sector and local private sector market conditions, and the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in developing the Direct Lettings scheme.
