A Procurement Officer in Adult Social Care is needed to work on an interim basis for a South London Local Authority. You will procure and manage a wide range of goods and services relating to social care, through developing and managing contracts which maximise value for the council.
Responsibilities
-Preparing pre-qualification and tender documents and evaluating bids and writing tender evaluation reports. -Ensuring systems are in place to monitor in-house and external service providers, to ensure adherence to the required standard of service delivery. -Assisting in the performance review process, setting targets and objectives and developing effective quantitative and qualitative measures -Monitoring services purchased by Adult Community Care. -Achieving demonstrable value for money and ensuring a programme of continuous improvement.
