Procurement Officer required to work for a local authority in the South Yorkshire area. To undertake a key role in the sourcing, negotiation and procurement of goods and services and continuous development of procurement policy and practise within schools. Procured service will include finance, HR, payroll, ICT, advisory, insurance, school meals, cleaning, maintenance, architects and service contracts.
Candidates must have previous experience within a senior procurement role at a senior level in purchasing/ contracting in a large organisation. Candidates must be a member of the chartered institute of purchasing and supply or working towards gaining this qualification.
