This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Programme Manager for a progressive Education Charity based in East London.
This forward thinking charity is dedicated to improving the quality of people's lives by teaching and practising timeless and ecological ways of planning, designing and building.
As Programme Manager you will ensure that projects are being planned and managed in an effective, economic and efficient manner. There will be extensive liaison with the Chief of Staff, the finance team and the graphic design team. Key tasks will include:
- To ensure the effective running of the Project Management Office. - To run a project management system and ensure the relevant Project Team staff are fully trained on the system. - To review and monitor all staged contract agreements. - Ensure the effective setting up of each project. - Liaising with the finance team over debt collection and credit control. - To ensure that work carried out is within the scope of the brief.
The ideal candidate will have formal project management training such as APM, PMI or PRINCE2 and will have experience of project portfolio management. Candidates must have a confident manner and be comfortable working in a multi-disciplined team.
