An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Planner to join this well-established market leading distribution and delivery service provider.

Programme Planner
£32,000 - £48,000 depending on experience + Excellent benefits
Central London

This role sits within the Programme Executive. The Programme Planner supports the Project Managers and Programme Managers to successfully deliver the projects. This position reports to the Senior Planner and is responsible for ensuring compliance to standardised processes, tools and methodologies to support project and programme management activities

The Programme Planner will
·Be a member of a Senior Planner's team aligned to a specific programme
·Work with the Project Managers to plan and support the deployment of the critical paths for project to time and budgets as per the business case

Knowledge:
·Understanding and exposure to standard project processes, tools and techniques
·Knowledge of mail operations (or similar dispersed network utility/service organisations)
·Managing Successful Projects, PRINCE 2 or similar accreditation an advantage

Skills:
·Ability to structure, plan and control a complex set of initiatives in various phases of development
·Approach all planning with sound logic to achieve the optimal product breakdown structure
·Ability to manage all planning and reporting products for the projects/programmes
·Ability to identify and implement risk management solutions
·Ability to effectively communicate and establish credibility with all levels of the organisation
·Ability to work closely with entire project team, and challenge where appropriate to reach a mutually beneficial outcome

Experience:
·Proven experience of supporting project delivery in a planning capacity
·Proven experience of developing and managing complex project plans and other products
·Proven experience of working with cross-functional project teams
·Proven experience of operating at management level
