My client is looking for 3 x Quantity Surveyors to join their team in Somerset.
Responsible for Cost Estimating on a variety of projects including Solid and Wet ILW Management, Ponds Decommissioning and Skip Decontamination, Sludge Canning and the Ponds Water Treatment Plant Project the successful applicants will:
Provide good quality cost estimates for all work packages.
Maintain comprehensive estimate documents and assumption registers.
Assist in the preparation of scheme proposal documents, providing cost information in line with estimating protocols.
Carry out bench marking exercises with other sites/projects
Advise on financial implications in support of a formal change control process.
Participate in regular project risk reviews.
Provide support to the value management process.
Experience in the Civils/M&E/Oil/Gas or Water sectors are essential, nuclear industry experience although not essential would be beneficial.
This client will also look at employment on a permanent basis for the right candidate.
