An experienced ASB professional is required for a 6-month fixed term project. This project can be based in either Taunton, Bristol or Chippenham, and is to start in September.
In this fixed term position you will have two clear objectives. Firstly to develop and publish our policies and procedures on dealing with nuisance and anti-social behaviour and secondly to procure and implement a new I.T. system for recording anti-social behaviour activities and producing meaningful and useful management information.
Our client has a recently written policy on Anti Social Behaviour, but the policy needs completing and a full set of procedures need to be developed to support the policy and ensure services are consistently provided. You will be required to produce these and carry out a reality check against sector best practice and customers' expectations.
You will also need to identify and agree with service users, our client's new Service Standards for dealing with anti-social behaviour. You will therefore involve customers fully in this process. This part of your project will need to be completed quickly because you won't be able to develop and implement the IT system until this is done. The procurement and implementation of the I.T. system to support the work of the nuisance prevention team will really draw upon your project management skills.
You will need to work closely with colleagues in the nuisance prevention team and the IC team to develop a user friendly system that reflects our approach to dealing with anti-social behaviour. You will be responsible for leading on the setting up and testing of the system, writing training manuals, delivering training and carrying out user competency checks and satisfaction feedback.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a challenging and rewarding contract, which will draw upon your extensive ASB and management exsperience. You will need demonstrable experience in this area, and able to start a contract role in September.
