An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Lawyer to join one of the North East's largest Social Housing Providers. Eden Brown are therefore seeking CV's from experienced candidates.
As one of eight Property Lawyers you will act as the organisations's lawyer on the acquisition and disposal of land/property.
You will also undertake other property related legal work, which will include:
Advising staff throughout the group.
Advising on legal issues in complex development projects involved in the delivery of the Group's development programme.
Advising on Landlord and Tenant issues in respect of commercial and operational property for both the Care and Support and Housing operations business streams, which are critical to the delivery of contracts and services.
Taking a lead role in undertaking strategic disposals for the group in connection with the Asset Management strategy, frequently ones which are critical to the financial performance of the Group.
Liaising/negotiating with external lawyers.
Providing accurate billing information and completion statements.
The successful candidate must be a Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, in each case with suitable experience in land/property law and knowledge of commercial landlord and tenant law.
