Quantity Surveyor required for TOP Lancashire main contractor
My client is a medium sized main contractor specialising in New Build and Design and Build schemes throughout the UK. Founded some 50 years ago, my client have a strong presence in the North West with a portfolio of projects consisting of, but not limited to, Commercial, Health Care, Education, Industrial, Leisure and Public Sector schemes. The business now has a turnover exceeding £180m per annum, employs over 500 people nationwide and operates from six strategically located offices.
Due to their expanding workload they currently have a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to join their Lancashire based team. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, ideal candidates for this position will have a proven track record and experience of traditional and design and build contracts.
This is a predominately office based role and would suit a Quantity Surveyor with 4years+ experience from a main contractor, house builder or subcontractor background. As the Quantity Surveyor you will have responsibility for a Trainee QS and should be suitably experienced and qualified to work on your own initiative, meet deadlines within the management team and have excellent communication skills.
Salary £25,000 - £35,000 + car/car allowance, pension, heath care and generous bonus scheme.
