Our Client a leading Housing Association based in North London is looking is looking to recruit a dynamic individual to take up the post of Regional Development Manager. This is a large Housing Association and the right candidate will be managing a team of 6 staff. Your main task will be to generate and secure new development opportunities to meet the Group's Strategy and to build and maintain positive relationships with Key Stakeholders.
You will be:
•Sourcing new opportunities and developing and maintaining partnerships with a wide range of housing and development related organisations
•Consulting with internal and external customers to ensure schemes meet the objectives of the Group
•Evaluating and managing risks within the development of new opportunities, including landbanking.
•Resource managing people, finance and materials
•Participating in the corporate management of the Housing Association
The successful candidate will have:
•Knowledge of valuation and purchase of residential developments – land and property
•At least 3 year's experience of project managing and delivering substantial development programmes
•Extensive project management expertise
•RICS, CIOB or similar relevant development qualification
•Great communication skills, both in writing and face to face, with people at all levels
•The ability to negotiate successfully with a wide range of organisations & individuals
