A senior position as Regional Financial Controller has arisen within a charity in Central London.
Based in London but liaising regularly with offices in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, the Financial Controller will be responsible for collating and assisting with accounts from all countries. A small amount of travel, no more than three days per month, will be involved.
As well as playing a key role in the co-ordination of each region's accounts, the Financial Controller will also join the Management Board of the charity's English programmes and will help to drive forward the success of its local activities.
Main duties within this role involve:
-Working with Programme Directors in each home nation to plan and manage financial resources
-Developing stable financial controls and practices within each area
-Coordinating the development, agreement, and review of budgets
Suitable applicants for this post are expected to display a track record of successful financial management within an organisation spanning numerous regions. Sound line management skills and the ability to deal effectively with staff over the telephone are also essential to the success of this post.
