Our client, a leading regional provider of Social Housing, requires a Rent Arrears Assistant for a period of 3 months.
Based in a busy housing office you will support my client in maximising the recovery of former tenants' arrears from customers, using a range of trace, collection and enforcement tools.
Key duties will include:
- Identification of priority debts, and negotiating repayment agreements - Preparation of documentation for court - To prepare correspondence, write off accounts and assist in the development of databases and files - To accept, record and bank payments where required and log and monitor costs/fees - To visit customers at their homes as required
Previous experience of arrears work is essential.
