A Risk and Value Analyst Based at Waterloo London is required for the key purpose of the Infrastructure Investment Group (IIG). Working in the Client capacity this role will require expertise in all aspects of project and business risk management facilitation. You will be able to coach and challenge management and non-specialists towards the results of risk management.
This department is the efficient delivery of renewals and enhancements through improved specification, better utilisation of resources and the professional control and management of projects. Its focus is to renew and enhance the rail infrastructure to deliver the Company's commitments for the future through increased efficiency and value for money. The planning of activities, resources, plant and equipment for IIG is integrated with the requirements of the operational railway through area planning and territory delivery planning units. The emphasis is very much on delivery at the frontline and via project delivery units.
Carry out qualitative, quantitative and business risk assessments to give the best advice to project managers and sponsors. Manage so that all projects have a risk register, the risks are up to date, that they are regularly reviewed and researched so that appropriate risk treatment is in place and acted upon. You will provide regular reports to project and risk and value managers on the risk status of the projects and programmes providing advice on management of contingency.
As well as other risk and value management activities it is also desirable to be a member of the Institute of Risk Management or Association for Project Management Risk Practitioner. Member of the Institute of Value Management.
