Senior Event Fundraiser - Based Belfast
A leading Mental Health Charity is currently recruiting for a Senior Event Fundraiser to develop a cost effective income stream from event fundraising, for year on year growth. You will required to organise and promote a portfolio of events achieving the targets outlined in the Regional Fundraising Strategy.
Duties
Setting the events fundraising plans for the region
Delivering the targets and plans for events across the region
Setting the development of new and existing events across the region
Developing a team of volunteers to support event fundraising in the region
Developing long term relationships with event participants and enquirers
Attending all local and regional events; and national events as appropriate
Essential
Experience of success in a customer focused environment such as fundraising, sales or marketing
Developing a portfolio of fundraising events including large sponsored events and special events
Experience of marketing events including those managed by other teams e.g. overseas challenge events
Experience of managing an event committee and supervising people
Managing and achieving a cost effective income/expenditure budget, from a number of events
