The role incorporates policy development, strategic review, project implementation, research, statistical analysis, benchmarking, identification and promotion of good practice, consultation and the effective co-ordination of activities.
Key Responsibilities: To lead on a programme of evidence based service reviews, policies and strategies.
To undertake service development initiatives that will assist managers in delivering to agreed outcomes.
To lead on service reviews as directed to achieve continuous improvement.
To develop action plans based on sound project management techniques and the Council's corporate project management framework.
Carry out or oversee research projects and develop policies that will inform and ensure delivery of identified service priorities.
Essential Requirements: Experience of policy development and/or service review Experience of programme and change management desirable Ability to development of effective working relations with directorate staff and external agencies
