A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client, a well respected Executive Agency who is seeking to employ a Senior Team Project Manager within their Standards and Qualifications Directorate. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow and develop within a role with real scope to progress. Your role as such shall be to ensure that the projects are developed to a high standard and delivered within agreed timescales and budgets.
The Standards and Qualifications Team is responsible for developing, maintaining and promoting the use of national occupational standards in supporting teaching and learning in schools. This is in part achieved by working with other bodies in the Children's Workforce Network to develop an integrated qualifications framework across the whole children's workforce, including both vocational and higher education.
The main responsibilities of the role shall be: Monitoring project progress and producing regular update reports; Developing project plans and delivery of products within the Standards and Qualifications team Managing project budgets Working closely with strategic partners and stakeholders to develop a greater understanding of qualifications and standards for school support staff. Liaison with internal and external Stakeholders The key criteria required for the post include: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong project management skills with the ability to influence change without direct management responsibilities - Experience managing large projects with substantial budgets/projects - Excellent stakeholder management skills
It would be highly desirable if you had at least two years' experience working in education and training and were familiar with qualifications either vocational or academic.
