Support Manager - Merseyside - Permanent 37 hour per week role.
We would be looking to review CV's by 29th August 2008. CV's will be reviewed at the beginning of September and we will invite those we wish to see to an assessment day. We are looking at week commencing 15.09.08 for the assessment day to take place. Purpose of Post/Objectives:
To supervise and support a team of Scheme Managers and Mobile Scheme Managers, ensuring that they are properly equipped and trained to carry out their responsibilities.
To assist and support the Service Manager in maintaining and developing an efficient, effective and high quality service to residents.
To take responsibility for the ongoing management and development of key areas of the service and to share good practice across the whole Team.
To take a lead with other Support Manager on improved team performance, efficiency and innovation and in line with the Vision for the Service.
Promote a coaching culture within the team that empowers and enables people to achieve their potential as individuals and as team members.
To lead on liaising with external agencies and act as contact person for the Supporting People Contract.
The salary for this role is SCP 29-31 (£23,749 - £25,320) and it would attract 23 days holiday per year as well as 2 statutory days which must be used during the Christmas/New Year period when the organisation closes down.
There is the option to join Merseyside Pension Fund - final salary pension scheme - and for the rate of pay the employee contribution would be 6.5%. The company pays in 13.7%.
The role would be subject to a 6 month probationary period and our flex-time scheme is also available to the post holder.
