Our client is a voluntary housing charity that provides specialist support to homeless people. Based in West Yorkshire they are currently seeking the services of an experienced Team Leader to lead their women's refuge project.
The duties associated with this role are:
•The day-to-day running of all aspects of the scheme's Refuge, Outreach & Children's Services.
•Coordinating and taking part in the emergency on call service.
The successful candidate will have:
•Experience of managing change and be able to undertake staff supervision and support, staff appraisal and scheme evaluation and development.
•Experience of working in a professional capacity with black women and children who have experienced violence.
•Extensive knowledge of the issues affected this client group.
•An ability to develop and maintain multi agency partnerships.
In order to considered for the role, the successful candidate will have a CRB disclosure and be willing to participate on the on-call rota system.
