We have an opportunity for a dynamic Care Team Leader with a positive approach and understanding of person centred care with older people.
Job Role:
Part of the senior team, responsible for planning and delivering a sensitive and efficient care service to residents, which enhances their quality of life. Support and develop Care Assistants, leading by example and promoting good practice. Be part of the senior team, responsible for the management and social life of the home.
The Person:
Applicants should have 6 months experience of working in a care setting, ideally within elderly care Experience of working as part of team and working to quality standards and procedures To have worked unsupervised with the ability to continually prioritise workload NVQ level 3 or equivalent or a willingness to work towards Good understanding of the needs of the elderly Ability to aid assessment, plan and implement care Able to motivate and encourage others Understanding of equal opportunities and the ability to put this into practice as appropriate Due to the nature of the role, clear verbal communication skills are essential
