One of our clients, a Local Authority is looking to recruit an experienced Generic Housing Officer to work as a Tenancy Officer on a temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to progress their career in Social Housing to work for an Award Winning Council.
Candidates who apply MUST have experience of working in the not-for-profit sector, for either a Local Authority, Registered Charity or a Registered Social Landlord (RSL/Housing Association).
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of up to 500 mixed tenure properties therefore experience of working within leasehold is also essential. Your CV must demonstrate experience of the following to be considered for this position:
(1) Handling ASB complaints and queries - conducting mediation hearings and interviews as well as joint agency working and attending court for Injunctions/ABC's and ASBO's (2) Carrying out home visits and conducting sign ups with new tenants (3) Working closely with the Maintenance teams and carrying out pre and post void inspections (4) Consulting with tenants about Shared Ownership, Major Works and Service Charges (5) Collection of rent arrears and serving NOSP's and NTQ's where necessary
