One of our clients, a Local Authority based in Central London is looking to recruit a Voids and Sign Up Officer to work in conjunction with the Allocation and Lettings Teams to minimise void properties in the Borough and increase departmental income. The office where this position will be based is easily accessible by public transport and would suit anyone based in the London area.
The client has stated that the successful candidate must have worked for either a RSL (Housing Association) or a Local Authority previously as they must have a working knowledge of Choice Based Lettings (CBL).
This role will involve the following duties:
(1) Working closely with the Allocations and Lettings Team to undertake property viewings and conducting sign ups
(2) Working to targets to minimise voids
(3) Conducting pre and post void inspections
(4) Inspecting properties once maintenance works have occurred
The successful candidate will have ideally used the Orchard Housing Management IT System and LOCATA however use of any other system will be accepted i.e. I-World/SX3/Northgate.
