Our client is a local authority based in North Wales who are now looking to secure the services of a welsh-speaking Warden to join them on a contract of around 6 months.
The role will involve:
- supporting elderly/disabled tenants by personal visits, phone or intercom to lead an independent life
- maintaining regular contact with tenants to provide neighbourly day-to-day support and to monitor their health and general well-being
- contacting relatives, friends, social services, G.P.s and district nurses, as appropriate, regarding health and well-being of tenants
- maintaining up to date records of clients
- reporting all issues to do with building and site defects and Health and Safety of tenants to Housing Officer
- organising social activities and encouraging and facilitating residents to take part in social and community activites
Applicants must speak fluent welsh and must live in the local area.
