We are looking to recruit an interim Waste Policy and Development Manager. This is an immediate opening for an experienced manager.
The interim Waste Policy and Development Manager's role will be to:
Work closely with the Waste Services Manager and Head of Public Realm in the development and implementation of the new Waste Strategy and the Council's other key waste polices
Monitor and model the Council's waste and recycling and advise if remedial action is required for the targets to be reached. Prepare regular reports for Members and the Council's Corporate Management Team monitoring group
Responsible for achieving the milestones of the Council's Recycling Improvement Plan; this will involve liaison with the Council's contractors
We are looking for a candidate that has substantial experience of recycling management at a senior level. You will also require demonstrable analytical skills and knowledge and experience of Wastedataflow. Please apply with your CV in the first instance.
