Our client, a Housing Association based in North West London, is looking to recruit a Network and Infrastructure Manager. The role, reporting directly to the Information Technology Director, will have responsibility for a team of 12 staff and will have sole accountability for developing and managing the Housing Association's computer networks.
You will be:
•Proactively managing Networking and Infrastructural requests
•Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
•Providing resources for all relevant and approved IT projects
•Ensuring that system procedures and policies are current and effective
•Preparing ongoing training and development documentation and packages
•Guaranteeing that ITIL is embedded within the IT Department
•Reviewing IT Strategy with a view to delivering infrastructural elements
You will have:
•Degree qualification
•Technical hands-on experience
•Experience of managing teams of 10-15 staff
•ITIL certification
•Operational knowledge of Windows, Linux and Solaris server operating systems
•Good working knowledge of Prince 2 project management
•Experience in the implementation of complex IT software systems in a Group or PLC
•Broad understanding of IT needs for a diverse set of requirements in a Group or PLC
