Anchor Trust is made up of a number of businesses providing these services, including Anchor Homes, the largest not-for-profit provider of residential and nursing care in the sector.

We were formed in 1968, when Anchor started life as Help the Aged (Oxford) Housing Association. Today, we employ 10,000 people and each week we provide housing and/or support to 50,000 customers.

Anchor has developed a range of retirement housing which offers extra support to customers who feel they would benefit from it. The Integrated Care and Housing model brings together the very best of Anchor's retirement housing with the added benefit of trained care staff on-site 24 hours a day.

Anchor Care offers a homecare service to older and disabled people needing personal care or domestic help in order to continue living in their own home. In some areas of the country we provide a live-in service. This service provides a care worker who lives in your home, providing the care you need, when you need it. As well as companionship the care worker can offer help with a range of tasks including personal care and practical help.

Many older people need the 24-hour care and support only a residential care home or nursing home can provide. Anchor Homes offers a service that promotes independence and choice, with every resident having their own room with en-suite facilities. Courteous and well-trained staff provide round-the-clock care and support, with our service tailored to match your needs, lifestyle and preferences.
